The Study Room: Healing Is From Jesus (Isaiah 53:4-5)

Isaiah 53:4-5 - "Surely HE TOOK UP OUR INFIRMITIES and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him striken by God, smitten by Him and afflicted, But He was pierced for our trangressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace, was upon Him and by His wounds WE ARE HEALED"
We can see in the text, not only in this passage, that when Jesus died on the cross He already took with Him all diseases, infirmities and for that reason we can not accept them.
The first thing we need to do to receive our healing is FORGIVE (Luke 11:4 " and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive anyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not to temptation" because sometimes the reason for our infirmities is the lack of forgiveness, and like my pastor says, you stop living your life to carry the others on your back.
The second thing to do is REJECT that infirmity, e.g. Cancer, you were born perfect, the way God made you, without it so there is no reason for accepting it.
The third thing to do is to lay your hands on the infirmity and order it to LEAVE IN THE NAME OF JESUS and it MUST leave (Mark 16:18,b "they will lay their hands on the sick and they will recover")
And also in John 14:12 "truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works I do; and greater works will he do, because I'm going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do that the father may be glorified in the Son", so looking on Jonh 11 we se Jesus bringing Lazarus back to life and gathering that with the fact that greater things we will do, the infirmities must leave when we tell them to.
And as an edification to your faith, here is a short testimonial. My uncle entered the ICU by the end of November feeling just a pain on the stomach when the doctors discovered that it was a pancreatite and we also found out that the level of his sugar and how demaged the pancreas was he was not able to live. So all my family started praying for him and I went to my church's Tuesdays reunion (by the way called "miracles and healings") for some weeks and there I heard this devotional. So I represented him when we were praying for healing and the pastor prayed for him rejecting the desease and ordering it to leave. After 35 days on the ICU, he left the hospital on December 31st, didn't went through surgery because his body started by itself getting rid of the part of the pancreas that was not working. Ten days later he was already driving. What God made in his life was a complete miracle and He can make miracles in your life too, just believe you already got your blessing.
