Diminished Chords
Diminished chords are formed from three tones with the distance between each tone being a minor third, three half steps.
C dim = C - Eb - Gb
C# dim = C# - E - G
D dim = D - F - Ab
D# dim = D# - F# - A
Eb dim = Eb - Gb - Bbb
E dim = E - G - Bb
F dim = F - Ab - Cb
F# dim = F# - A - C
G dim = G - Bb - Db
G# dim = G# - B - D
Ab dim = Ab - Cb - Ebb
A dim = A - C - Eb
Bb dim = Bb - Db - Fb
B dim = B - D - F
Note: "bb" means Double Flat or two half steps lower than the given note.
