Minor Pentatonic Scales

A minor pentatonic scale consists of 5 different notes. They are the same 5 notes as the major pentatonic scale, but the 1st tone of the scale is a different note. For example, the A Minor Pentatonic Scale uses the same notes as the C Major Pentatonic Scale. The difference is that the A Minor Pentatonic Scale begins on A, not C.

C: C - Eb - F - G - Bb - C
G: G - Bb - C - D - F - G
D: D - F - G - A - C - D
A: A - C - D - E - G - A
E: E - G - A - B - D - E
B: B - D - E - F# - A - B
F#: F# - A - B - C# - E - F#
Gb: Gb - A - B - Db - E - Gb
Db: Db - E - Gb - Ab - B - Db
C#: C# - E - F# - G# - B - C#
Ab: Ab - B - Db - Eb - Gb - Ab
Eb: Eb - Gb - Ab - Bb - Db - Eb
Bb: Bb - Db - Eb - F - Ab - Bb
F: F - Ab - Bb - C - Eb - F
